Health challenges associated with the syndromecan vary and may include intellectual disabilities, speech anddevelopmental delays, kidney problems, and heart defects.
Under the care of a multidisciplinary team at Nicklaus Children’s Brain Institute, Roberto received care throughout his childhood. Today, Roberto is a thriving 11-year-old, and he continues to visit the Rare Chromosomal Disorders Clinic at Nicklaus Children’s.
